Wills and LPAs
Our Private Client team are dedicated to giving you thorough and sensible advice regarding your estate planning. Usually, this means making your Wills and drawing up Lasting Powers of Attorney.
We know that the contents of your Will and your Lasting Powers of Attorney are some of the most important decisions that you will ever make. We take the time to understand your family circumstances, your assets and listen to your wishes, and we will provide you with advice to make informed decisions and assist you in clarifying your thoughts.
Our Wills and LPA Team
Our friendly and approachable Private Client team is made up of qualified Solicitors and Legal Executives: Our team are experts in the law on Wills, estate planning, inheritance tax and powers of attorney.
The services we offer for your Estate Planning are as follows:
A Lasting Power of Attorney enables you to appoint someone to look after your financial affairs during your lifetime if you become incapable (either mentally or physically) of managing them yourself. You can also give the power to someone to make medical and welfare decisions for you if you lose capacity. For more information and videos about Lasting Powers of Attorney, please visit our Powers of Attorney page.
Advice on Paying for Care
Many clients are concerned about paying for care as they get older, and we can advise on the legal position relating to this, and advise you on the options available to you as part of your wider estate planning.
As part of our continued support to Arthur Rank Hospice we regularly get involved in Make a Will Month. Keep an eye on our social media to see when the next one is coming up.
Here’s Vicky Austin, a former member of our team, supporting Arthur Rank Hospice and offering advice on the importance of writing a Will.
